Back to School Night presents a fantastic opportunity for you to meet our dedicated Lion faculty and staff, and to become familiar with your student's classes and curricular expectations. ASB will be selling pizza and soda combo meals starting at 5 pm. We are also excited to be joined by our partners from TGR, Cypress Park and Rec., and the Boys & Girls Club. Parents of English Learners are invited to join us at 5 pm in the library for an informative English Learner Advisory Committee Meeting. The evening will commence with an Opening Ceremony at 5:40 pm, followed by a short PTSA Meeting at 5:50 pm, and classroom visits beginning at 6 pm. A blank schedule with a school map will be sent home with every student tomorrow, Tuesday. Please have your student fill this in for you or refer to your Aeries for your student's schedule. Parking at Lexington is limited so we highly encourage parents to carpool if possible. Additional parking will also be made available on our basketball courts. The flyer being sent home will also include a QR code for you to sign in on the evening of Back to School Night. Please remember to sign in using this QR code if you attend.
The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Youth Ride Free Program is available for the 2023-24 school year. A new pass is required along with a new parental request form. Using the new pass, Orange County youth ages 6 to 18 can ride OC Bus for free for travel to school, work or fun all year long. To request a Youth Ride Free pass for your child, just complete this form and return it to Mr. Barba in the library during lunch on Tuesday 8/29 or Thursday 8/31. Forms are also available in the Main Office.
