The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a school-level committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members. The purpose of ELAC is to provide the parents of English Learner students with an opportunity to participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of core and support programs for students who are learning English. ELAC members advise the school on the development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), the school’s needs assessment, the Language Census Report (R30-LC), and efforts to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance. Each school’s ELAC Committee also has the opportunity to elect at least one member to the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC), which advises the school district Board of Trustees on matters affecting English Learner students.

on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 @10:00 am.

This meeting will be in-person in the Lexington JHS Library. 

Interpretation into Spanish and Korean will be available.

As part of our meeting, we will have a parent workshop discussing ELPAC Testing

- What the ELPAC test is and it's benefits 

- Supporting your child and more...
